Twlight Frenzy

Literature had entered the lives of children and teens with the seemingly ubiquitous Harry
Potter Series.
However, once again rabid teenagers fawn over the latest Twilight Series. Myriad
of girls rampage various message boards proclaiming their love for Edward of Jacob, and they are
faithfully beholden to their preference by vociferating "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob. Now I,
a teenager myself, contemplates actually purchasing these books.

I have read countless reviews that has either lauded the book with adulation or has panned the book with contempt. People have said Meyer, the author of the series, is the "Queen of the
Thesaurus" deriding her overuse of it and yada-yada. Also, they have said that her characters
are atrociously consummate. Basically, they say that they are without flaws. I've heard teenage girls (and Boys) say that this is the book they have ever read. To them it may be, but I find it ludicrous for others (who read) to actually concur. I loved the HP (Potter) series and movies but are these books worthy of comparison? Stephen King has said, and I'm paraphrasing here, that J.K Rowling can write but Meyer certainly can't.
